We are pleased to announce the promotion of Vadne Domeika to the position of Associate Artistic Director of the Regional Performing Company of Dance Theatre Northwest. Vadne joined DTN in 2003 as a performer and since that time has also held positions as rehearsal assistant and instructor. Vadne also holds a position on the Board of Directors. In her new position, Vadne will assist the artistic director in tasks associated with directing and staging performances and rehearsals and choreographing new works. She will also continue to perform and to teach at DTN.

DTN's solid foundation of professional artistic tradition and continued development as a positive force in the community and the arts draws regional and national attention and support. DTN was one of the few studios in the nation to be included in Dance Magazine’s special supplement Secrets of Successful Studios in June of 2007. DTN's CELEBRATE SUMMER project has grown in popularity and scope each year, generating several positive media reports including, most recently, an article in Dancer Magazine and Dance Magazine Online in June of 2007.
